Surface patterning with high aspect ratios are not achievable nowadays on metals with imprinting or subtractive technologies such as Electron Beam Melting, Laser ablation, and lithographic techniques. By choosing the proper pattering methodology and deposition strategies, the Manudirect’s MLD give the possibility to deposit a wide range of different structures on planar and curved surfaces.
